You will only beat an R/T if traction is bad...gravel,rain,snow.

an R/T is 300 pounds lighter with a higher stall and 4.10 gears and will dust you on clean dry pavement.

sorry

Bummer....guess I may have to go the R/T route!
I have a Trailblazer SS right now and me ego won't let me get anly slower than high 13s or low low low 14s (which is why if I can't get a ram to run those sort of number, I'll just get a challenger!)

Are you looking to run your truck in 2wd only??

I use 2WD when track prep is perfect, usually a 10th quicker
Only switch to 4wd auto for my next run if my first pass in 2wd spins
...it doesn't happen often with sticky DR's when they lay down fresh traction promoter.

4 auto is just insurance for bad track prep when you have an open rear diff like me.
