and even then I only use 4WD Auto (AWD mode), that only engages front driveshaft when rear slip is detected.
I use 2WD when track prep is perfect, usually a 10th quicker
Only switch to 4wd auto for my next run if my first pass in 2wd spins
...it doesn't happen often with sticky DR's when they lay down fresh traction promoter.
4 auto is just insurance for bad track prep when you have an open rear diff like me.
