It was flashed wrong by the vendor. I'm waiting on an XKLoader2 to arrive to re-set it correctly.

Thank you. Now, what if I want to have an alarm system installed that works with the stock fobs? Would this remote start system still work? I'm looking at adding an Audiovox 9233 or the Crimestopper CS-833. Both work with the OEM fobs, but I'm not sure if this remote start system will interfere. I need an alarm more than I need remote start, but it would be nice to have here in Florida's blistering sun.

Go with the audiovox, there's an ST version that includes remote start all using the oem fob & has more run time options from 5 min to an hour. I found it here for you for $75 + shipping I might get one too: http://www.audiovideodimension.com/a...d1fa9d6521814e

Here's my problem. I would like to install this myself, but without any access to a service manual and/or wiring diagram for the 2012 I wouldn't have any idea on what wires and connections need to be made and where. I'm going to try and find a local installer that might be able to install this system. Thanks for the link.

Found the install manual for the S9233ST: http://www.specsserver.com/CACHE/FRLAPFVPHDMG.PDF
A chilton manual from autozone may give the wires you need. When I installed a viper in my daughter's bug, I was able to find a table chart online that told me the color and operation of each wire involved in stereo and alarm installation. I would think there is something similer for the Ram. Plus, alot of the connections could be found and tapped at the TIPM: lock, unlock, doorpin, constant power etc.

This looks like it might be a good upgrade, but what I was wondering is on the factory key fob there is what seems like extra buttons so when you first activate the key instead of pressing the lock button could another button be utilized instead???My other question is:when the lock button is pressed 3 times does the trucks horn honk or does it know you are trying to start the truck and bypasses this feature, and does it lock the doors and honk the horn when you just press it once??Also is it possible to set up the dball to act like the factory remote start where the heated seat and steering wheel will come on or the A/C when it is warm?? Just curious hope some will chime in that has knowledge on this thanks in advance

I think I read this in this thread about the windows remotely going down just press the unlock button twice and hold down on the second press and the windows will roll down until you let go.hope that makes sense
