Just did mine today. Ghosting was present just like when I had the pinstriping removed. Did like i said previously and hit the whole truck with cleaner wax and a buffer and came back with turtle wax carnuba and can no longer tell where any of it was.

Here are the close ups. Sorry I didnt take pics during the process. I was wondering what the hell I got myself into and what I would do if it didn't have a good outcome. Anyway the stripes were removed by a body shop using an ereser wheel and I did the badges by hand. I could've easily re-striped and badged the truck from 10' away.

Finally got around to doing it. There is alittle fading but I did the 4X4 on the tailgate as a test about a week ago and that is pretty much gone. Cant seem to attach a pic, think it might be to large a file.

3m rubbing compound takes it right off, didn't have a bit of ghosting on my 11' but I did it on a black 99 Sierra and it came right off
