Default Exhaust Help?

Hey i have a 04 Dodge Rumble Bee (5.7L), and I have just magnaflow exhaust tips on it right now. I mean its pretty loud now but just when I really get on it. I want it to get louder.

I was thinking about a aero turbine AT3030 muffler. Will that make it louder? Also what else can I do to the exhaust system?

And finally will it hurt my MPGs and increase or decrease HP/Performance?
What size also, and what does different lengths and widths of the tubes do?

I have a magnaflow muffler and it's pretty rumbley but not over aggressive. magnaflow will increase hp and the shorter the muffler the louder usually

Moparornocar is right. The shorter the muffler the louder it will be.

I just installed the Aero Turbine 3030XL (has built-in resonator) and I'd say it's fairly mild but sounds good. I'd recommend listening to sound clips of as many as possible before buying a muffler. Youtube has a lot of videos but sound quality is sometimes misleading.

If you want all out loud, get a good set of free flowing headers, remove the cat and buy a free flowing muffler like a magnaflow, etc.

The size of the pipe doesnt have as much impact as flow does. I've seen 2.25" mufflers outflow some 3" mufflers simply because they flow better. Choose wisely.

As for increase/decrease in mpg's.....it varies by your driving style mostly. Although anyime to free up power there is potential for increased mpg's.
