Fantastic job!
Can I ask what paint did you use to do this?
Where can it be purchased from?
Thanks

I did not use primer. Cleaned with prep spray, 1 coat of adhesion promoter, 3 coats of each color and 3 light coats and then a final heavy coat of clear.
If I looked a bit further I would have seen this.....lol
Where do you get this from?
Im assuming you used a sprayer?

Ok so going by the dates on your posts you painted this engine cover almost a year ago , right ? I saw someone say the paint would peel if you didn't put heat resistant paint as a base coat . So how is this holding up ? I assume that you used a air sprayer for this job ? Your post says you used :
1 can of Dupli-Color prep spray
1 can of Dupli-Color adhesion promoter
2 cans of Dupli-Color flame red
2 cans of Dupli-Color brilliant black
1 can of Dupli-Color clear coat
what size cans ? i.e. pint , quart ? Do you have to get this from the dealer ?

I would love to know this as well.
Prior to taking delivery of mine, my dealer (detailer) detailed the engine cover too, so it has a waxy/oil film on it.
Whats the best way to remove that prior to doing all the steps above?

Nice work man. Reps for sure.

Now as for your cargo lighting, mabye look into resistors. When I replaced my reverse lights with led bulbs they stayed on just like your cargo, very dim. The company recommended wiring in resistors, fortunately the problem disappeared...

Autozone has resistor for pretty cheap and not hard to wire in. Hope this gives you some help or ideas to a solution.

I'm considering ordering a set of those tail light covers, are you happy with them, can you see the brake lights very well during the day, are they standing up well as I think you've had them for a while now, do they fit closely to the light or do they stick out a bit? Do you have any photos of them close up?
