Default Question ?

Was under my 2010 1500 crewcab checking out what was on there for exhaust . It has a single in/ out set up . so now I know where to start for a new system . Got two questions though . are the catalytic converters the 5 1/2'' round things just below the manifolds ? What are these things that look like skateboard wheels (pic) ? They are on the outside of the frame rail on both sides of the truck , just under the front doors .

Very odd is what they...

Is anything going into or out of them? Do they appear to be hinged at all?

You've peaked my curiousity

Those skateboard wheels belong to the board that you ran over, J/K

They are actually weights that counter vibrations & noise that travel along the frame

thanks for the response . That must be why they are under the cab , to help quite it down . They appear to be made of dense rubber or some poly compound .
