Truck looks great, was looking at those same steps, but wondering if you are looking at them from the front or back do the step part stick out past the tires and if so how much? I had the oem one on mine and had dealer take them off cause they stuck out to far. thanks for any info

I appreciate everybody's input and especially the pics. For now I'm going to leave the tape. Ain't wild about the black trim under it. I feel like it would stand out on a red truck.
I'm ordering a shift knob today. Don't like that massive hunk of rubber.
