Default 285/50 on stock wheels?

I've been searching on and off for months and have yet to find a stock or leveled (lowered) ram running a 285/50/20 tire. I'm very curious to see what this would look like. I'm thinking of getting a set of 20x8.5" or 9" wheels and using those tires if it looks ok. I've seen this on a stock truck, 3rd gen but I have a 4th gen express and want to level it. Just want to see if anyone has seen this or am I going to be the first! Thanks.

Mine has a 2/4 drop with spindles and 285/50r20 Toyo Proxes STII's. Looks good but it has a little too much wheel gap for me.

Zevox, those were exactly the kind of pics im looking for! The only references I had were 3rd gen, and even though they are similar it looks like with a 2/4 drop and the same wheel/tire combo they appear lower, kinda like the guy below. I think the 4th gen has a larger wheel wells to accommodate the larger tires that come stock. Personally, I love the look of your r/t. I think the stance is perfect. It seems like the only way that tire would look good is on a 2/4 drop. Probably look way too small at stock height or leveled in the rear. Did you put the tires on before or after the drop? How did it look? I still need to tow occasionally so I'm a bit concerned about going 2/4 but leveling may be a good compromise. And if I'm going to level, the 305's might make things look a bit more proportional. Thanks again for the pics! This really helps me decide what route I want to take with my ram.

Hey spymac! I've been considering the same with running 285/50-20's (31.2") on my stock 20x9s with stock height too. I currently have 275/60-20's (32.99") with my 3.55 rear gear and could use a little off the line umph for my boat towing. So getting closer to the 31.6" tire diameter is my main objective for a "corrected" rear gear. I may just stick with a 275/55-20 (31.9") and speedo calibrator to keep things looking proportioned. Nice pics by the way Zevox and BlackRam! You all are helping me decide on my choices as well.
