I wish I had taken pictures.
Funny thing is that McGaughys told me they never heard of anything like it before.
The drivers side was a little worse than that picture, passenger side you could see the first row of tread. my wheels were 22x9.5 with a 19mm offset.
When I called McGaughy's and asked about the extra front width from the spindle kit they said it would widen the front about 1/4 to 3/8" each side. I still wanted the advantage of stock front suspension geometry and ride so I went with the deluxe kit(front knuckles). After installing the kit true enough the front wheels were slightly less than 3/8" further out. The alignment shop had no problem getting the front aligned in all specs (caster, camber, toe) and that brought the front wheels slightly closer in towards the stock width. I have been pleased with the handling and ride of the new kit. The supplied panard bar relocation bracket took care of rear alignment and centering.
I keep hearing about the extreme widening of the front wheels from the spindle kits. I say that is greatly exaggerated or the result of poor alignment procedures.
