Default Replace Tips on the Magnaflow 16700

I Currently have the Magnaflow 16700 system on my '07. It sounds exactly like I want it. But I think I'm ready for some new tips/location of tips.

Do you all think if I was to cut off the pipes after the muffler and have a shop fabricate some new tips out the corners or something it would sound any different. The tips that came with it were the 3.5" Magnaflow ones that are about 1/4 inch thick stainless steel that run about 18in-2ft each.

I didn't think it would change too much but just makin sure that the current tips don't resonate sound or anything, then I take them off and it sounds different.
