Default First big tow.

Did my first heavy load with my 2012 4x4 outdoorsman today. 8000#'s, 135miles, cruise set at 70mph. Left it in 4th with tow/haul on. Was very pleased with the power available. Did have a good bit of squat to it but the ride was not bad at all. Temps were low 200's for water, 231 for oil, and 156-170 for transmission. She she running just shy of 3000 rpm with the hemi and 3:93 rear. The outside air temp was 93(Florida).

Just figured I would share. If something seems off with the numbers let me know. They seemed like reasonable temps, at least cooler then my 07' Silverado ran. My usually tow is my 24' boat which the scales but at 4480#'s.

Default If you want your truck level....

Hi Justin,

If you want to level your truck when hauling heavy loads, check out TotalLoadControl at the Z Vendor Forum or on our website.

Our customers are saying we have the best air suspension for 4th Gen Rams- we agree because we use the largest air springs ever used on a 1/2-ton truck. In fact, the 9" Goodyear air springs we use are industrial strength and are the same springs that we'll be using on 2500/3500/4500/5500 trucks!

TLC also improves everyday steering, handling and ride. Bolts on; doesn't interfere with factory coil springs - just makes your truck perform better.

We're having a Spring Sale now.

Happy to answer any questions.

John
