The plate is the way to go on injection. As for ordering I placed an order directly and they knocked off a huge amount everything I ordered should have came out just over $1000 I got it for $850 shipped to the border (I import myself). Most zex kits I've seen are dry kits and I wont run a dry kit from what I've read. looks like the nozzle in that pic is for a wet setup though so thats a plus. As for comparing the two can't say much but I really like this NX setup, and in the future I will up grade it to a direct shot (planning on the motor blowing up in the future, whether thats 1 year or 5, I want RamTex's setup )

VA4MEDS ran a ZEX wet kit set to a 75 shot on his 5700lb Crew Cab
no weight reduction plus a 200lb passenger, Hoosier slicks and Diablo tune.

13.401/100.46 (I think bone stock he was mid 15's)

Quote:

"I bought the ZEX Hemi Truck kit from shophemi. Cheapest I found

For 75 shot I used DENSO3381 (K20HR-U11) plugs, Diablo 93 tune, set rpm up 600 (6200), shifted 1-2 & 2-3 at 5950, retarded timing 3 degrees across the board to get back to stock timing, tow/haul mode, ESP off. No added fuel cause ZEX box takes care of that.

For 100 shot everything the same except total of 5 degrees retard.

ZEX told me retard 2 degrees more for 125 shot. However I was told by Superjay at HTC that my motor w/ only 10,000 miles on it was to tight (new) and to wait until I get more miles on her before the 125 shot.

I consider him the HemiGod and will abide by his advice.

Ya its a wet kit, I'm starting to like the look of your deal better now!
...after I put everything together with some more info from Al (VA4MEDS)

Purge Kit is $108
Window Switch is $170
Bottle warmer is $155
AEM WideBand is $200
Pressure Gauge ...???

and new 16 new spark plugs. ....I'm going to need more $$$ than I thought.

Oh yeah, I ran Denso 3381 plugs Gaped @.033. They are a step colder, reach is a mm or 2 shorter and are stock on a 2008 4.7 Durango. I got them from RockAuto.com @ $2.37 each. I picked up DENSO as a sponsor, so now I use their Iridium plugs which retail @ $10.00 each.

Well I was due for plugs so that was a no brainer. I still need a bottle warmer.
For your list I'd add an aem fuel pressure gauge $200 and digital n2o pressure gauge about $150-200 and an autometer a pillar with 3 pods $100... its not cheap but its very adjustable to your needs, and buildable.

It's amazing how quick a $600 kit turns into a $1600 mod

I'm probably going to put this off until Fall now,
...my truck still has under 25k (kms) on it, 15,000 miles
I Dont really need new plugs just yet.

..still thinking 4.56's a DTT are in my future and spray was going to hold me until then, now not so sure

I hear you on things adding up, on the plus side I've saved over $400 importing and buying things with free shipping in the usa and what not. The cost of my kit done is similar to what it would have costed to have someone install my cam and pushrods so im happy with that, and plan to tackle the install later this summer.

You have an open rear diff too, right Tim?

I fear spraying now will just encourage a one wheel peel,

Gears first ( with a TrueTrac), then spray me thinks.

That is the plan, still trying to save and decide between 4.10 or 4.56. The TrueTrac is a definate. Also want a good edge or circle d first as well

Just wanted to update the progress on my nitrous setup. I officially have my AEM wideband and fuel pressure gauges running (pics included). I was unaware that the trinity is capable of datalogging my AFR's from the wideband! I set this system up and it works like a charm, this will make remote tuning sooo much more friendly!
With that said, I'm away for may long weekend and waiting for a nitrous pressure gauge to show up before I continue. Just need to run some wires and hoses now and start spraying. Here's a couple pics, with 2 irrelevant pics that I found in my old pics.
