Default 14 mpg to 6 mpg???

I went from getting about 14 mpg to about 6 mpg in the last couple days. Any ideas on what happened or how to fix it?

Do you have any engine lights? Most likely a bad sensor.

It's possible. Don't just go replacing parts without a diagnosis first though. Do you have any engine lights on? If so, go to a local auto parts store and have them scan the codes with an OBDII reader and give you the codes. Don't take their diagnosis of the problem, many of them are not knowledgeable to be giving advice. Just write down the actual code displayed on the reader and post it here and we can probably tell you what the issue is.

And BTW welcome to the forum...
