I went to a Crew, I've had the ext/quad cabs of different Fords, and Dodges i'll NEVER go back to a quad/ext cab. Crew is the best. I'll just pull a small trailer if i need to and ride in comfort.

I do wish that they'd come out with the Crew w/6.5' box option like Ford did on their newest F150's. I think that'd be a good option for a lot of people.
However I like mine the way it is.

I have an 09 Crew and luv it. My customers who ride it the back seat have plenty of leg room and never complain. I also have the center console in the front which I really like. I had another 09 Dodge that had a bench seat in the front and I traded that truck for the one I have now and I was worried that I would miss the extra seat up front. I took my truck on an outing last weekend and I had six average size adults (two up front and four in the back) and we made it just fine. I was driving and not riding in the back, but the back seat passengers never complained about being cramped up. I was happy to think I could get six people in it. I also have the short box and have a undercover top covering the bed and I sometimes carry around boxes that are 83" long. I have to put them in at an angle and it is tight, but they fit and I can close and secure the lid.

My 11 RAM is my first Crew Cab. In the past I had Silverados and a F150, after my last truck (extend cab) limited leg space and complains from my kids I did the best thing buying a Crew cab.

Love my quad..its fine for our family(1 wife 2 kids and 1 dog) on a 5 hour trip to the beach. Anything longer and we usually take the wife's Town and Country.

Side note...I hate mini-vans, but the T&C is incredibly comfortable on long trips

Sorry to revive the old thread but i find the quad to be perfect. My truck is not used as a daily people hauler and the available rear seat room is quite adequate in my experiene. For a large adult the rear seating area in the majority of passenger vehicles is going to be less than ideal anyway so why shoulna truck be any different?

The quad cab is the perfect compromise between bed size and knee room for rear passengers. As i said it is more than adequate in real world use. Plus quads look better in my opinion. So there

Funny, I was just talking about this with the wifey the other day. She loves the Ram, everything about it, but she wants a bigger back seat.

I said "does that mean I can go order my new '13 Laramie crew?" She said, yes, but I get to pick the color.

Quad cab for me. I wanted the extra bed space to leave room for a couple of mountain bikes and assorted gear. So far, have not had anyone ride in the backseat. It's mainly covered storage. If I could have found a regular cab with all the goodies and the 5.7L Hemi, I would have bought that instead.

I have a 10yo son and 3yo godson so we are in love with the crew. A/C in the back is wonderful. My son also said to tell you the best part was being able to fit the drop down DVD.
