You are not alone in California. In New York, I had to pay a "tire recycling fee" . Thought that sounded fishy, looked it up and it is true. Just another cash grab courtesy of Albany!!

Woot deal done! I had to drive 4 hours to Florida to pick the truck up but I got it for $33750 without the side steps. Thanks all you saved me $3k and I got a weekend on the beach!

Good deal, I bought my mopar side steps from eBay from a dealer in NC, cheapest around I could find. Takes just a couple wrenches and about an hour to install them

Thanks for the info. I am not as mechanically inclined as most here and was not sure how hard this would be to install.

Its pretty simple to install, they give you the tool to compress the rivnuts, wouldnt hurt to have a torque wrench for the final tightening. Click on this link to download the .pdf instructions to see if something you can do:
