does it repell water better now? they use recycled water here on base (Edwards, CA) for the sprinklers...and since I've been on midtour I've gone out every morning and wiped the truck down....after 8 months of being gone she looked NASTY...had to buy a buffer and compound and go over the whole truck to get the stains out
The whole truck looked like this when I got home this month.

went a head and debaged while I was at it

bigger shot with a better SRT reflection

that's all with just the compound....no wax/polish....but if the turtle wax works great for repelling water, I just might get some before I go back to Korea at the end of the month....or just hope me getting up at 0700 every day rubs off on the wife and she continues lol

It does a great job of repelling water. I waxed it about a month ago and looks great even after an all night rain storm like we had here in memphis last night. even bird crap pretty much beads up and nearly runs off on its own. of course I always touch up with some mcguires detail spray after a bird attack or rain storm too, to keep it nice and that just waxed look.

I just finished giving my truck the "Black Box" treatment and I am very impressed.I have used Nu Finish for years and as long as I have black vehicles they will get the black box treatment until something better comes up. I ended up just tossing out the 5 microfibre cloths I used since my old lady would likely lose her $hi! if I tossed them in the washing machine.

Glad you like it. I know I love the way my truck truck turned out. The only thing I dont like about this stuf os the black wax gets uner my finger nails and my micro fibers I used are black. Lol
