thanks for all the input on this. Im not going with the cat back...just the muffler in the stock set up. My truck is a short box/regular cab, so theres not much exhuast to begin with. I was figuring the 24" would be enough cuz it gets rid of the stock garbage can they call a muffler and opens it up so anything would be an improvement over that. and the smaller the muffler the louder it gets usually.

Chefred112, thats a nasty sounding truck. I love the power of the hemi...tons of snot for the shit-n-get lol.

Just ordered a CAI for it to. i bought the cheap one off ebay that im gonna use the pipe for and make my own airbox for it n toss on a KnN filter.

Any other cheap power mods that can be done to this truck??? im all ears.

I have the 14" Magnaflow and love the way it sounds. Check out how it sounds. The sound inside is not overbearing at all. I get a little bit of drone at around 80km/h but not bad at all. I have a few videos on youtube that gives you an idea of how it sound inside at regular throttle and full throttle.

I have the 22 in mag and most of the time I say to myself any shorter and it would be annoying. But, there are times when I wish it was louder, albeit very few.

My set up got noticbly louder after a few thousand miles. When I added the magna Ypipe it teamed up for an enjoyable sound without being too obnoxious.

I have the same one, glad to hear it gets a little louder. I don't know much about Y pipe or x pipes or anything so is the Y pipe easy to install? or did you have to get it welded?

Yes 4x4, I was actually kind of pissed as how quiet it was when it was fist put on. Now I'm am very happy. The ypipe gives it a good rumble that I notice every time I start her up.

I ordered the part from magnaflow direct for about $27 and paid $75 to get it welded in. I recommend to most people that you get the muffled and ypipe installed at the same time and you should be able to save on installation. Regardless, it was worth the 100bux.

Cool man thanks, I installed my magna flow exhaust kit myself. But i was considering putting in a magna flow 14" or 18" instead, and if i do id get a Y pipe welded in as well. Probably going to make a list of things i want to get welded in and then do it all at once haha
