Default Brake Controller

I know this is posted a ton throughout the forum, and ive read a ton of them. but im gonna try again (sorry) I have a 2009 Ram 1500 hemi. It has factory trailer lights installed on the bumper. 4 pin and 7 pin. I was looking around and i see tekonsha makes a connector that plugs right in from their p3 to the blue connector under my dash. but i really want the factory clean look i dont want anything hanging by my knees off the dash. does the mopar brake controller make it that easy aswell? Just a little lost. thanks guys

Nothing for the 09 for absolute. There was someone who claimed he did it but there was just too many variables for me and whether the dealer would flash it or not. If you have the center console build it inside the massive glove and it will be out or sight completely.

I just went through this with my 09...even though we have a "Compartment" just below the light control, we do not have the "factory" plug for the factory controller. Your truck may or may not have the plug/harness that came in the glove box for an after market controller(my dealer had a bunch laying around in the shop and they just gave me one), with that you can buy a controller from any auto parts store and if you get one that is small enough you can remove the "compartment" for the factory controller, cut the back out and mount the controller in the space so that it is not so much in the way of your knee anymore. That is the best way, in my opinion, to have it within reach yet out of the way. I know many on here have found other ways to make this happen, but you just have to figure out what works best for you!
