Default Need Help - leveling kit install

Hello All !!!
Was looking to get some input on installing a leveling kit.
I'm sure this has been discussed a million times already... Sorry...
2007 dodge ram 1500 4x4

I'm interested in making my truck just sit level so if I order a 2" leveling kit
Will it be a true 2" lift or is it +/-

Also considering installing 2.5" and if so would I have to put 1" block in rear?

I've heard people who put 2" leveling kits in and truck still sits lower...

Leaning more towards summit engineering billet aluminum or should I got with solid steel like hell bent?

Any1 have the summit engineering kit already installed ? how do you like it? Is the difference even noticeable?

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated
Me and my brother plan on doing it this weekend
Also anyone have any problems later on down the road with 2" or 2.5" kit?

Thanks guys

Cant help ya on the inch specs but I would suggest going with steel over aluminum whenever possible with suspension upgrades.

The back sits 2.5" higher. The 2" spacers will get you really close. I have the summit 2" over rancho ql's so I'm at 3" up front. It is 1/2" taller than the back now. They have been good for me so far. There really isnt anything that can fail on them so you're safe to go with them. They are bolted into place so there isn't any potential for movement or wear so they won't fail on you.
