the E3 are a gmmick just like the bosch +4's they dont/can't increase voltage for the spark that all has to do with the primary and secondary windings in the Coil Pack and most cars now days are around 40,000 volts to the plug so, really all the +4 and E3's are doing is maybe making the plug find a easier ground, the only performance gain out of a spark plug is maybe a Hotter plug (slower heat transfer through the head) or a Colder plug (faster heat transfer through the head) , i had a friend with the same truck as mine (both stock at the time) he put E3's in it, and it did nothing we raced and we stayed side by side the entire time, i just think their a marketing gimmick

ok well i have them running on my 2002 4.7 and to be honest im getting somewhere around 20mpg's highway and around 17-18 in the city... and also i have no major mods on my pickup. i just had the oil replaced too. so from my point of view they work pretty well.
