3.55's to me is still an econo gear...I'll always vote for the the tallest gears..i run 4.56's with 30" tires on my daily driver (over 215k miles)... I went from 3.92's to 4.56's because 4.10's were too close to 3.92's to feel a difference. I love the 4.56's, actually tried 4.10's because i bowed to peer pressure..worst year daily driving to me and when i had the chance to get back on 4.56's i jumped on it... (1.7 60's an 7.x 1/8th's)

The 3.55 are not as bad as many people make them out to be. The problem is the tq management from the computer. I had a 2006 Silverado with 3.23 gears and a 5.3 motor. I ran low 15's with it. My 2007 Charger has a pitiful 2.65 and it will smoke both rears with no problem. We Ram owners need a tuner really bad.

man this truck is pissing me off.. after the recent updates (k&n cai, true duals with magnaflows, 4.10s), this thing STILL only went 9.39 @77.. the 60ft is still killing me, the best of the night was 2.22


edit; the DA was over 3500 and the corrected time is 8.97..now i wouldve been happy if only it said that on my timeslip, then i wouldnt be inclined to spend another 500 bux for a converter lol

you should be shootin for sub 2 60's and low 8's, 2.04 and 8.84 are respectable but you'll have to consider gears if you truly want to show better at the track...

I have a 10 hemi ram scsb that went a 9.43 stock and with 300 miles on it. All I've done now is programmed it with diablo programmer. Now it runs 9.24 @ 78 mph. It has 3.21 gears, and had a 2.21 60' when it was stock.
