Meh. I chose to get them professionally installed at my local after market shop just cause I get a lifetime warranty with them. Was worth the extra money to me.

I just today spent $930 dollars to replace my tipm. It was not warrantied bc they directed the problem to my HIDs. This should speak for itself when describing my hatred towards them.

I just installed a full hi/low/fog set on my 06. The fog lights were absolute plug and play, no issues, not even a relay. My hi/lows came with a relay, and they worked fine, other than my lows, just my lows, would flicker on and off randomly while driving until they just remained off. Searched ebay (it's safe if you know what to watchout for) and found a can-bus harness. So easy to install it's retarded, plug it in between your relay and ballast, then drive and enjoy the flicker free headlights. I will NEVER go back to halogen, HID is the obvious better choice.

my passenger headlight is like a 6k look while all my other lights are 8k...my passenger headlight is running on the far end of the relay. told hid extra about it, they sent me a new bulb and it still looks 6k compared to my other lights...idk what it would be...so im not buying from them anymore

I purchased my 2009 RAM with an aftermarket HID kit installed. (Only the low beams) I was dealing with the flickering problem from day one and one night I had no lights and had to drive home with just fogs. I found out that they had put the in line fuse next to the radiator and it had melted. I fixed that and everything was good except for being flashed every night by oncoming vehicles until last night when the drivers side bulb went out. Long story short I went back with the stock bulbs upgraded to Sylvania Silverstar for both lows and highs. Now all of my lights match including my fogs and no flickering.

I didn't go with HID's I used Plasma glows for lows and fog, there not nearly as bright as HID's but there a nice bright white with a tint of blue, very easy install, I also replaced the backup lights and the plate lights with leds looks real nice,
I never had any real luck with Hid's,, no matter where I bought them it was always somethig,,,,,,
