Live with your Truck it's got Character when you get more money try adding small stuff. But before spending too much money make sure the truck is worth the upgrade, (how long do you plan on keeping it). We were all your age with old cars but we all loved our first car, have fun enjoy yourself drive safe.

They gave me $500 for it and called the next day to move it for them because they couldn't get it to start or run. All those old cars develop tricks to get them motivated and mine was no exception. - I was the only one that could get it to go I think they scrapped it

that little car drove from Long Beach to San Jose once a month and never let me down, as long as I had a couple quarts of oil to feed it along the way
reminds me of my first car. I had a Ford, and when you turned the key it would power on, but not turn the engine over. The action of pushing the clutch pedal in turned the engine over. I didnt have to turn the key at all.

Bad thing was, you couldnt push the clutch all the way in to shift or the starter would engage and stall the engine. I got used to it and drove it for 100k like that
