I mean when it comes down to it, the jasper is still the same block as all the other 350's sbc right? it's just what they put on that block that makes it different?

Yeah I'm not really sure. Like someone mentioned above, I'd make sure it's a 4 bolt main, if it is then it's a keeper. You can always change the internals.
