Question remove panel ?

2012 ST -- how does the panel below the heat/AC remove ? I want to mount a CB radio, and want to remove the panel to drill/mount the bracket

Remove the rubber tray above the radio. It will expose 2 T20 torx screws. If your truck has the 110V outlet on the right hand side you'll have to remove the outer trim piece around the outlet exposing another T20 torx screw. Once you remove the screws you'll have to pry the bezel out between the dash. The bezel is held in with a lot of clips. I think a dozen or so. I made a plastic pry tool out of some bicycle tire levers by grinding the end down and making a smooth thin flat end. Just be careful as you pry between the dash and the bezel. I started in the top outer corners. Once you get that bezel off you'll understand the rest.

ah, I have to take off all that stuff to get that lower panel out ?

I had hoped there was a way to get it out without disturbing the upper stuff. oh well !!
