Default 5" RCX & 3" PA - biggest tire?

I have a body lift already with 315/70R17's and want to get a suspension lift soon. With 8 inches total what can I run? I read thru the stickies, one said 6" will fit 37's, and in the other no one had quite the same setup.

With a 6" lift 35's are usually perfect in most peoples opinion but yes in most cases you can run 37's without rubbing issues. With a 5" suspension and a 3" body you shouldnt have a problem running 38's, but i wouldnt go any bigger IMO. If it were me Id throw 37's on it and call it good!

I'm gonna say you could do 38s. Just watch your wheel offset and tire width.

I have the stock 17's with 2 inch spacers on it now. I can't go wider than a 12.50 or 13.50 without a wider wheel, and even that's pushing it since they're only 8 inches wide. I seen a 2500 with 8 inch lift running 39.5x12.50...how much taller is a 2500 vs a 1500?

2500s are 3-4" taller than 1500s stock.

I'm with candy, 38s should work just fine. That stock rim might come into play tho

So it safe to say a 2500 with a 4-5 inch lift would be comparable size-wise to my 1500 with 8 inches of lift?

In theory I guess yes. I would have to put them next to eachother to give you a yes or a no.

I believe the HD trucks have larger wheel wells as well which would aid in the larger tires as well.

Hmm i always thought the fenders and what not were the same....but any way it gives me a rough estimate for comparison
