I've had three trucks with body lifts and have never had a problem. They don't affect the ride quality because the suspension isn't altered.

Default rc 1.25 body lift

does anyone have this installed on their trucks, i have a levelling kit on and want a little more so was thinking about this bl, i would really appreciate some pictures of trucks with this body lift on it, so i could see the gap between the frame etc, i have always kind of stayed clear of body lifts cause of the gaps and extending some lines linkages etc, but i figure the 1.25 isn't very extreme and might be just what I'm looking for any help is appreciated, thanks

I installed this lift on my truck... not difficult, just takes time. Be aware though, if you have tow hooks on the front they have to come off, RC made no provisions for relocating them. I also had to extend the 4wd wiring harness to the front axle, the lift pulled the darn thing apart and it was just too short. I also chose not to raise my rear bumper since that would force me to have the tailpipes reconfigured, and I sorta like the gap in the back.

Here's some pictures during the install and after:
