Default won't start

Hello, all! I am new to this site and looking for any suggestions. I have a 2002 1500 with the 5.9L engine. It has been an excellent truck, giving no problems at all. Until, I went out to start the truck and when I turned the key all of the dash lights and bells came on as usual, turning the key furhter resulted in nothing. No clicking, would not turn over or any sounds. Had the battery checked (was good), replaced the starter (no change), checked fuses and relays ( all appeared fine). I am at a loss. Thinking may be an ignition switch problem, don't really want to change it if I don't have to. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a starter relay to me. I haven't deal with anything as new as a 2002, but on prior models the relay is positioned on the driver side inner fender. I would definitively rule that out before going after the ignition switch.
Second check would be the transmission neutral start safety switch. If it is bad, you should be able to unplug it and start the truck. Just don't leave it that way. It's there for a good reason. I say you should be able to start it. It worked in the old days, but with computers it may not allow a startup til it's fixed and plugged in.

Or move gear selector a bit or try it in nutral. You never know
drag racers prayer, "As I lay rubber down the street. I pray for traction I can keep. But if I spin and start to slide. Please dear god protect my sweet ride". Family truck'ster
