i dont think the truck has any problem with that weight. the past two days ive been getting 1500-1650lbs of stone and besides the sag i had no problem. if i had the air lift i would have gotten the full tun on each trip but i dont

just a quick update, I have the bike all loaded up and strapped down, drove through my development over a bunch of speed bumps and hit the brakes pretty hard to simulate NY roads and she did just fine, I have a couple of pics on my phone I will download when I get a chance, I feel very confident its going to be an easy trip.

My only problem is with my air lift system, I bag seems to be leaking air and I didn't have time to pull it out and warranty it, I have troubleshot it down and the valve cores are tight and good, the "T" isn't leaking (i tried three), so I am going to just bring my portable compressor to fill it as needed....I will pull it out and deal with it after my trip.

thanks for all your input....

Looks good, bro. Should make the trip no problem. Just keep an eye on that air leak, like you were saying. Good job

And that's a purdy bike you got there.

I can't begin to say how happy I am with this setup!

The truck performed flawlessy, I kept the tow/haul button on the whole trip we road from long island to syracuse over through the Bronx and over the GW bridge, lots of bouncy roads, and it was just fine. On the way home there was a posted hour back up at the bridge so we shot down to the Lincoln Tunnel and went into Manhattan and across, for those who don't know 36 street is worse than going off road! we bounced a bit but I took it slow and made it home no problem.

I lost a fair amount of air on the trip up and down, so when I gassed up I just filled it back up with my portable compressor, I will have to deal with this asap....

Over 650 miles and not a single complaint!!!

Good to know. I'm glad it worked out. Good thing you had that compressor.

Now to find out where that leak is coming from... Good luck

I finally got around to borrowing a jack and stands this am and had at it, the leak was where the hose connects to the barb on the passenger side of the truck, it was a pita to get it out of the coil but I was persistent and I am glad I don't have a curse jar! Seems to be fixed I will know in the am....

I have hauled both bikes now a few times and all though I had to refill the bags I really love this truck and the way the airbags help the bouncing while going through Brooklyn or Manhattan! Next trip West Virginia for a nice vacation....
