Default lift kit components

I have a 2011 sport crew 4x4. I had a pro-comp leveling kit installed shortly after I bought it and now I need to decide if I want to buy tires or a lift kit. Looking at the rough country 6" kit or a set of 35x12.50x20 toyo's. Both run about the same cost and I'm a mechanic and have installed many kits on Jeeps and Chevy's but never a Ram. On to my question:

looking at the 6" lift kits it would appear as though the front uses a strut spacer along with the lift spindle/knuckle. Am I seeing that correctly? That would mean my leveling kit would be useless since I won't stack them.

I knew I should have bought the Bilstiens instead of the spacers. I really wanted a level or maybe a nose up stance and 37's or even 38's at some point.

I really like the way the stock wheels look but I don't know if I like them enough to use a spacer. Stock rims with a 35x12.50 requires a spacer and I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. I have no issue with running a 6" lift with stock wheels and tires for another paycheck or two when I would buy the tires.

I'm just trying to figure out if the lift kits use a strut spacer. If they do then I guess I would list my leveling kit on CL to cover the cost of the alignment and just buy bilstiens to get the front up a little more.

Yes most lift kits especially the 6" use strut spacers
