Called S&B, won't be ready until the end of this month. Pricing will be 289 plus i think 12$ shipping she said. They have a distribution center in Vancouver, so that helps lower the cost for us Canucks, which is a rare treat!

Haven't been able to find out about the scoop though...I don't think it's going to be available right away

I realize that but i was suggesting that the airaid would suck more air (similar to the bfi sucking in air from almost 360 degrees) than the s&b. I figure the S&b, since its only for cold air, can only take air thru its inlet (which is only so big) vesus the airaid with can take air in from more than just a small inlet. Sorry for the confusion

you can get as much air as you want it but your TB only allows so much unless you go with a ported one or something larger.

Yes, Craig from S&B confirmed with me yesterday these intakes will begin shipping July 1 2012.

I hope to get mine soon so I can post a detailed review with pics and the whole shebang.

Their quality is an industry standard, IMHO.

This will be my third one in five years and the other two's fit, finish, installation ease and gains [though no graphs to back my claim, just "feel."] have been top notch.

Below's a couple of pics of my most recent S&B in my previous truck.

Yes, there are two models available for our trucks; dry disposable, and the oiled one.

I have an airaid on my 2011 now. Here are my thoughts: 1)the seal that goes on top of the box is a POS. I have installed many CAIs but never had so many problems as I did with this one. The rubber seal just doesn't bend enough to fit to the shape of the box. I ended up having to pry it open with a screwdriver and cut it to make it fit. Then I used some 3M spray adhesive. Looks like crap. Their customer service was good and sent me a new seal, but I haven't bothered putting it on. 2)It's loud, which is fine, but I have not seen any gain in MPG and it really feels like it bogs down under hard acceleration at times.

All that being said, I'm going to get a S&B.
