This is very true. Though he is going to hop on and see he has comments on his thread and wonder who added a page and a half of comments. Granted he will see it is us and won't be surprised at all

I want to add true duals
Headers, x-pipe, dual 14" mufflers (or smaller??) and 5" tips painted black. Maybe 6" tips, depends on if 6" is ID or OD

Should check out my thread for my parts list for my true dual setup, will give ya a good idea on prices. Looking to have it all installed and ready to go in bout 2-3 months. Motorcycle first though, gotta stay on task

Now I feel bad for leading people away from IDWB's thread

*Sits in corners* All this too loud stuff. Cherry Bomb Extremes with deleted resonators would kill you guys! :P I will say though with all the windows rolled up and at any cruising speed 40 on up you can't hear any droning at all. You can't even hear any exhaust noise at all. I think this truck exhaust wise is pretty quite with even strait pipes at cruising speed. Nor can you hear MDS when cruising.

Lol 2 pages later, but it's relatively on topic I'm surprised how quiet these trucks are even when you open them up, but I'm thinking that may also be because the cabs are insulated better. I'm still going to keep the SI DO style instead of true dual, but I'll add in a E-Cutout on the main 3" pipe just after the Y but swap out the Flow 14" for a Maggie 14". MDS isn't all that bad except around 50 you can feel and hear the difference a bit but then I'll switch it over to manualmatic lol

Bash away! LOL
Its all good!
My neighbors would hate me if I had anything louder than what I got.
What I got by no means is loud....but I find it perfect for my ears. As mentioned above.. a tad loud...which leads me to think a 24" would have been perfect for me...

Either way, I am not complaining and love the sound of it especially the start up.
I have nothing else to compare it to....but I do love it.

14" I like also, just not on my truck....maybe a buddies truck, but not mine.
Id go insane....

Exactly!
When I floor my truck, honestly....i do not hear the Maggie anymore. I hear my CAI but not my Maggie.
I only hear in on acceleration and more so on slower acceleration.

See that's where it works out great for me
Mine is pretty much a weekend warrior, seeing I drive a truck for a half-ass living LOL. the only thing i drive mine for during the week is when I get home and want a beer and a Burger, so I drive down the road to get it
I don't have to drive the truck to and from work, to and from lunch, etc etc etc
So I want mine loud as hell LOL
