Default TPS / IAC valve problems

2001 dodge ram 1500 5.9 360 v8

Alright, few days ago i had the symptoms of the TPS and IAC valve problems, no idle would stall if i did not keep my foot on the gas at stopsigns etc, however if i left it in park and kept it at 500rpm it would eventually stay running. At the same time i had a very weak battery, i had to boost it to start it.

Today i changed the battery and it has lots of juice, but now the engine wont start. i tried giving it gas because thats what would start it previously. Not working. I absolutly love the truck when it runs, i want to get it working more then anything its my first truck and im dedicated to find the problem if anyone can help me out i would be so greatfull

I havnt tried listening for the fuel pump to turn on yet with the key in the on position because it was driving a few days ago and it wasnt the fuel pump at the time.

I also was told it could be the MAP sensor for the original problem, but im now faced with it not starting at all.

Turn ignition key on and off 3 times after 3rd time leave in ON position if there's a code it will pop up in odomitor on left of cluster. Be quick to see code they don't stay up for long.

This can sometimes do a soft reset and allow you to start the truck by seting computer into limp mode.

Also if you find you have codes and have an android phone. Look in the market for OBDII trouble code lookup mobile . It is on the money and is a free app.
