This reminds me of when I was in the market to buy my truck, I was telling a co-worker about what i planned on buying. He asked me why i needed a truck and offered to sell me an acura. I looked at him, for a minute slightly confused and responded with something to the tune of. " well you see when i go hunting in the fall im not going to have much room in an acura for a trophy sized buck or moose, or when i go to get fire wood i wont fit much in the trunk, or if i buy furniture i would have to get it delivered etc. but come winter ill pull you out of the drifts when your acura gets stuck." his que to be speachless

^Yep I couldn't do without a truck. I have a good bud that had a ram in HS and sold it for a z28(BA car) but every time we get in my or another person's truck he always says "I think I'm going to buy another truck". Problem is that after getting out of the truck he gets in his camaro, puts the pedal to the floor and says "nevermind..." lol.

I never really was a truck guy, mainly because of the uprite seating position, thats why I mainly drove/drive Explorers and Mustangs. But my regular cab/short bed Express has a lot of room behind the seat which lets me cop a lean back. My back is fused L2 through L5 and Im more comfortable laying back a bit. I must say that it is nice to have all that room in the bed although I probally will never put anything but luggage or grocerys in it, but I do pull my carhauler and motorcycle trailer quite a lot. Im currently moving to a new house from the country to city and I hauled a bunch of scrap today to the recycler, the trailer weighs close to 1600 pounds and I had 4867 pounds of scrap iron ($472!!) on it. My little truck pulled it like nothing at all, even over I10 bridge in Lake Charles which is steep. Im really happy with my new Ram, probally wont ever buy an Explorer again, especially since they are now unibodys.

Damn sorry to hear that. My dad has issues like this and has lost a lot of movement and has a lot of pain.

I don't know how you ride a bike either with that, my dad and I used to ride at least once a month together(we live in different cities) but now with his issues we only ride a few times a year at best. Come to think of it I've only ridden with him 1 time this year, for about 2 hours. He just says it's too painful anymore...
