Default Door locks and stereo issue

First problem is with the door locks . I can unlock using the remote but it won't lock any of the doors either with the remote , central locking or using the door lock switch on the master switch, to lock the vehicle I have to lock them all manually .
The second problem is with the sound system . The problem is that within a few seconds the sound just cuts totally ! At first I thought the radio was just re tuning to find a better frequency but it also does it when using the cd player !
Anyone got any ideas ?

I had the same problem with the stereo and had all my speakers replaced. Shortly after that my rear speakers quit. The tech. told me that the amp behind the radio was going bad. After getting my speakers replaced is when my rear door locks quit working remotely. I beleive quite possibly that the tech may have left or accidentally disconnected them. Hope this helped.

Thanks for the reply and advice .I have since been told the same ref the amp on stereo ! the tech reckoned that it was running hot and thus cutting out . The door locks I will check what you said , as it has to be something stupid !!! I know for sure that it's a royal pain in the butt . Thanks again
