Question

HOLYDIVER89- Unfortunately, my RAM does not have that, it has the regular gauges. I want to upgrade to that if possible... I hate the look of the black empty space between the gauges, I just don't know how to go about doing that. Can the regular gauges just be pulled out and replaced with EVIC unit??? Is it plug and play or are there additional things to add to make it work?

Here is the skinny on the mirrors as I've replaced mine with Tows and went through these same issues:

All model of mirrors are plug n play for your basic heat/power. Those options swap with no issues and do not require a dealer flash to function.

Now the complicated part:

If your truck did not have puddle, turn signals entered into your sales code from the factory as a dealer option, a flash will not get them to work. The dealer can tell you if those were options for your truck or not. The only way to get those to work like factory is to buy an ECU that has them programmed in already (not cost effective and not as simple as pulling the ECU you need from another truck).

Unfortunately my truck did not have those options so I had to hard wire the signals and I have yet to hard wire the puddle light. Hope this helps!
