Default CAI: K&N, Volant, or Mopar??????????

Im between these right now. Which one should I get?????????? The K&N and Mopar look very similar to me the only thing is that the Mopar one doesn't void warranty, BUT its almost double the price. Is it worth it????? Or should I just jump on the Volant because it looks like thats the favored one on the forums??????

Please help me out here, let me know what you think I should do and why.

Thank you

I believe the volant is the only one that is a true CAI, meaning it's sealed from the engine heat and sucks in colder air. Love mine.

Coming from somebody with a K&N so I am not lying. Go with Volant and do yourself a favor. LOL

It all depends on how much you want to spend, and which features are more important to you. I have the K&N 63 series, and I love it. If you want true cold air, I would go with the volant. The K&N fit my needs and budget, the old lady said I could spend $250 so I got the K&N, and I have no complaints.

Check out the S&B. You get the sealed enclosure like the Volant but shouldn't have the fitment problems. I say shouldn't because it doesn't get released until July do nobody has one yet, but they look very nice.

How much louder is the Volant intake? I dont need any annoying noises. I installed a cold air on my '94 Z28 back in the day, but I can't remember it being too loud. Not any louder than the sound of a 4 barrel carb opening up anyways.
