Angry Have to keep at high idle

I have a 96 ram 1500 I just bought yesterday and it had an electrical issue with the grounding, after i regrounded everything the truck starts up but theres one problem. I have to keep my foot on the gas pedal making it high idle when im driving, if i take my foot off the gas at all it dies. I thought at first it was bad gas since it was sitting for almost 3 months so i put new gas in and ran it through for about 30mins today and it still makes me need to keep my foot on the gas. I have no idea what I have to do, any suggestions?

Check your negative terminal. I just snapped my negative cable connector, and used a clamp to hold it on till I got a new connection. Anyways, mine did exactly as you described. If there loose whatsoever it will do that too. Or any corrosion. A baking soda mixture with water will eat the corrosion .

Hope that's it cause its a simple fix.
