On there Website they explain the process. The Daytona Hemi did 0-60 in 7.32 compared to a 6.70 with the VR and a 6.86 with Volant with Ram Air.

1/4 mile, Stock = 15.57 --- VR = 15.07 --- Volant = 15.22
*** 2 wheel drive and a .5 second increace!
*** The Volant was the closest competition

* The fastest 1/4 pass ever was only done once so is that not real either???


My truck ran a 15.31 Bone stock in 111* weather here in Phoenix. I have a 4x4 with 3.92s and heavy chrome 20" rims. My car runs 6.80s at 170mph+ though, I know what I am talking about. The BFI is a great intake just not here in Phoenix where it gets to be 160* + under the hood.

Well for whatever reason i am not able to reach anyone with Vararam. Apparently this was a hot topic to start heh. Anyways... faster is always better but what do you guys think about the mpg from this intake. Better or worse compared to K&N?

Came across this guy who has one installed looks pretty slick and he claims it works great. I think i'll give it the benefit of the doubt and try it out. Hopefully i get a better sound out of it too!

the Bfi and Vararam are arguably the 2 best cai's out there (the quickest na qc's run either of them)...I have seen guys though get rid of vararam's for bfi's and no one that has a bfi give their's up (unless they go FI and can't use it)...also, from what I've seen first hand from a guy who put one on..the fit and finish was poor...he ended up doin some modification's to get it to fit correctly (and I've heard this from others as well)... also, guys who live in wet weather states have hydrolocked their engines because water gets sucked up in the tubes..

I will be going with the BFI in late october (hopefully when there is one)... I have heard enough about it and decided to give it a shot...
