Default Just wondering about going to 37's from 35's

So I think I'm going to be looking at a new set of tires soon and I'm wondering about going to 37's from the 35's I'm running now. I assume it'll cost me a little more in fuel economy, but my biggest concern (and I can't find it addressed on the boards) is whether tires of this size are just too darn big/heavy for a 1500's drivetrain and steering components. I've found a number of threads that talk about fitment/clearance issues, but what about component failure? The last thing I want to do is start wearing stuff out just for the sake of tire size...

Thoughts? Do you guys that run 37's have any problems besides rubbing/clearance?

You're already running 35's, so I can't see where another 2" will make too much of a difference. Hell the stock 20's come in at a little over 33" as it is (if I remember correctly).

I'm sure that there will be some extra wear, but I doubt that it'll be significant, or truly cause a component failure.

This is just my opinion, and I don't have any personal knowledge or data to back it up

Might want to go to one of the websites and see what the weight difference is as well between a 35 and a 37. See if it's a little or a lot.
