Default 3500 suspension on a 1500??

so ive heard that 2500 and 3500 suspension will give my 1500 a couple inches of lift...my question is i found a guy parting a 92 3500 dually with 50k original miles would that suspension fit my truck? or is this just a dumb question...

You can see over an inch on the front springs, but it's easier to get an add-a-leaf for the rear to get another inch.

1500, and the 2500/3500 have different frames... from memory, the rear springs are longer on the bigger trucks... they are likely wider also.
