Default Looking for a new car for my grandparents

Well, my grandpa has the car buying ants in his pants again and wants to upgrade his old Chrysler Concorde. (Not sure what year, it's the last generation though)

He had his hip replaced last year and has trouble getting in and out of the car, so we need something with a good seat height/ground clearance/leg room. Another factor is gas mileage of course, but he doesn't want something gutless.

They occasionally haul some other friends around, so having a decent backseat is also needed. Grandpa would like to keep it Mopar, but at the very least one of the Big Three.

Anyone have good suggestions? Grandma wants a minivan, but Grandpa wants his self respect. Getting a minivan wouldn't be the end of the world, he has a 09 Ram to keep his testosterone in check.

I really like the idea of a 300C. It's a pretty respectable "old man" car and the new v6 with the 8 speed gets some sweet mileage. I'm just not sure what the seats are going to be like.

Anyone have Grandparents, parents (Or personal experience) that could help out. I think our best option would just to go down to the dealer with Grandpa next week when he's free and see what he can get in and out of.

The 200 is a tad samll but is pretty nice, I just bought 1 to commute. The Pentastar V6 goes like stink and gets 30 MPG. The 300 and the Charger (very similar cars) are more roomy, the 300 being a bit more plush, the Charger a bit cheaper. I test drove all 3 and I have to say I was not fond of the 8 speed, it worked well enough but the motor is always relaxed, out of the power band. If you want a good compromise look at the Journey, not a mini van but a lot of the same features. Plus a bit higher seat hieght may be just the ticket for someone who has difficulty get up from a low seat. I also test drove the Chevy Impala, pass on this one, no rear seat head room.
