What airbags? Factory installed airbags? I didn't know that was even an option.

not sure about the Rams, but i disconnected the air bags on my old durango when i had to replace the blower motor. never saw a diagnosis code or any warning lights indicating the airbags were off/disconnected.

They shouldn't go off from that. The grille or crossmemeber or bumper would have to be bending in for them to go off. At least that's with the 3rd gen rams

OOOH I thought you meant suspension airbags like with auto level! lol

Why would your (safety) airbags go off while offloading? You would have to hit a trigger which means you either wrecked into something or rolled over -either way you would want the bags active...

I wouldn't worry about it too much it never set off a light in any of my vehicles since I usually disconnect them, always heard they were set off in light crashes. I totaled a 2003 Impala with my Trailblazer ( she spun into the guardrail in front of me in the rain and I impacted here car still doing at least 50mph)and none of the many airbags it had went off and they were checked when it was taken into the shop. I had some decent front end damage. So I would think you'd have to hit something pretty hard offroading.
