Aaaaand; anyone who STILL wants to blame our economic troubles on the Bush administration is in serious need of a history lesson (outside of MSNBC News that is).

For starters, you can take a look at this article published in 1999: http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpag...5AC0A96F958260

"may not pose any difficulties during flush economic times. But the government-subsidized corporation may run into trouble in an economic downturn, prompting a government rescue similar to that of the savings and loan industry in the 1980's."

After that, do some further research into the Carter and Clinton Community Reinvestment Act.

(I'm not here to dwell on the past, because I know the future is more important; I'm just dispelling another round of this "Bush is at fault" hogwash.)

Have a nice day

In my opinion and its just that we have been on a steady track from way back, the downhill ride we are on has just been picking up speed in the last several administrations

I just finished the rest of the video, and I agree with tom, it does seem that they are onto something. The vast amount of examples listed in the video are astonishing. Everybody should watch it before posting!

"astonishing examples" can be found - or fabricated - anywhere and, while they can be compelling to one side, should not be the basis of any individual's opinion. Rather, research from several several sources- not to mention standing firm on your beliefs - should form a persons arguement.

You are probably right though, about watching the whole video before posting anything... some of us are working on it

I still havent watched the whole video,(single dad 2 sick baby girls take time)
But I just gotta say I have a deep down distrust for any kind of government anything, I dont think there is one politician that is concerned for the American people as a whole.
They are in it for the money and the power, not a one has done anything to actually help the common people in this country..Not one
