Default bigger tires

hey guys i got a 97 1500 im looking to put 33 or 35s on it.i was told i can tighten the torsion bar and it will lift the nose is this true and will it work ok or should i just save and get a body or susp lift

for a little over 200 bucks you can get a front coil spacer and a rear add a leaf that will bump it up 3 inches..im gonna do that i can pm u the link but im running 33s stock and they only rub a little bit

cool man thanks alot.i got 33s now but there street tread that what you have or do you run a more aggressive.mine rub a bit now im worried about getting a aggressive tread and having them torn up by rubbing prolly have to get wheel spacers

If you guys have single piston caliper front disc brakes you can drop the rim size down to 15" and put 33x12.50x15 tires on 'em.

BTW, I have a spare set of u-bolts hanging on the rafter in my shed for factory 3" blocks in the rear. Maybe I'll throw 'em in the truck, and maybe I'll be at Dave's...

If you tighten the torsion expect things to break if you drive very hard. It's the worst option IMO
