I agree. Here in Canada that is probably the worst place to put a "glove box". I could understand it if it were a fiberglass box, but its metal so I feel that it would rust out from the salt. Not to mention, would gravel not kick the crap out of it, or get damaged easily. I know even my Ram get abuse in that area even with flaps. Also, it's strange 'cause the mud flap is part of the door, so it all pivots together. I say all this 'cause I took the G/F's Versa in the other day and I had time to wander the lot. The styling inside and out is just not my cup of tea.

I will give them this though. The chrome wheels on the Titan are actually chrome wheels, not plated plastic. However, there are plus and minus points to chrome over clad, and again, it come to personal preference. But for a sticker of 52+ thousand on the Titan, I'll be able to get new rims for the Ram should they deteriorate. (even if I had a loaded Laramie)

As far as durability goes, the old Pathfinders were quite bullet proof and the Versa has been a rock so far (90,000km) so the Titan could be reliable(but it won't be me finding out!)

Ok I am a Ram guy but I do like the titans. From what I have heard prior to 2004 dodge assisted Nissan to design a full size truck, whether that is true or not doesnt matter to me, they are a great looking truck and hold their value quite well. I am not going to vote on this one being that I am a ram guy but I dont think I could drive a plain jane truck, no offense anyone, that being said my next truck will be an HD so nissan is deffinetly not in the picture

I voted for the Ram. I may be biased but here's my reasoning...

About 3 years ago, I test drove a new Titan Pro-4X. I really liked it and came close to pulling the trigger but a few things held me back:

- Price. Granted, I'm now driving a Ram that cost more, but I feel like I'm getting more value for my dollar with the big diesel. The Titan was just a shade under $50K OTD and wasn't giving me any more tangible features than, say a 1500 Ram Outdoorsman - which would have been much less $$$ OTD;

- Reliability. I won't get into slagging other marques but most reviews (including the last Consumers' Report I read) indicate the Titan is one of the least reliable vehicles built by Nissan (and I like Nissan - Mrs. Hardware drives a '10 Rogue and is thinking about getting an Xterra);

- Scarcity. In the sense that they aren't that popular which means finding accessories can be a little more difficult. Tacomas are quite popular and I found (at least back in '06 when I bought mine and started farkling) that it it was harder to find accessories and there was much less variety and selection. When I was seriously considering getting a Titan I did a few accessory searches and found it was even worse and the prices for accessories were higher, it seemed. You don't see many Titans at job sites with headache racks - there are reasons for this...

A friend of mine bought a Titan about the time I bought my Ram in early 05. My Ram now has over 175,000 hard miles, his Titan about 75,000 miles. He's had his in the shop many times, last thing to go=radiator. Up until last week, the only thing to wear out on my Ram was a U-Joint. Last week I had to replace a front wheel bearing. He says his Titan is quick, but he never comes to the drag strip to show me how quick. I'm betting my Ram would kick his azz.

Normally I would say that Nissan makes a good vehicle. That being said, a coworker of mine bought a new Titan about four or five years ago and it was constantly in the shop. He was sick of it by the time he got rid of it.

So, which direction did PA RAM go?
Last I heard, you were trying to decide between Mineral Gray and Black.
