Default Intermittant misfire???

My 96 V10 beleive its still obd1 has been doing this off and on since I got it.
It runs fine most of the time but randomly at idle or low speed it will start to misfire almost like an old carbed vehicle when the choke partially closes while warm. If I get an open area to crack the throttle it usually clears up but does sometimes return at low speeds later on. Sometimes more often than other days lately. It seems to do it at any running temp and doesnt set the mil or check engine lamp.
I originally thought it may be the cats as it had the rattly cat syndrome that seems to plague these trucks but I have eliminated them and am running dual flowmasters with no cats. There is no tailpipes either so thought maybe it could affect the o2 reading?
Anyone else run into something like this?

Ok so rechecked for codes this morning with the key trick and came up with the following:
12: Direct Battery input to PCM disconnected within last 50 ignition key-on cycles. Normal if battery has been disconnected, otherwise check battery power and ground connections.

21: O2 sensor does not detect rich or lean condition, or O2 sensor input voltage too high. DRB will indicate which side with dual sensors. The O2 sensor signal should fluctuate under normal conditions.

The O2 I suspected as an issue as I had bad cats but the battery disconnect baffles me since I havent had it disconnected at all in quite awhile. Any tips on how to track this one down as everything seems tight and in good shape.
Also could the code 21 have an effect on the o2 and cause the code 12?
