Default Added A Couple Accessories

I've owned my 2012 Laramie for a little over a month now. Thought I'd post some pics of add-ons.

Bak-Flip G2 tonneau

Husky splash guards

Custom-made aluminum bar made by an awesome neighbor to which I attached bike wheel blocks. Not sure how the tonneau is going to stand up to bikes sitting on top over long distances, but I'm gonna give it a try.

the tie downs I got for the front stake pockets tend to turn a little when under tension. Not to sure about them.

That is a really nice setup. Just wondering if you could design another bar for the back wheels with wheel chocks in it. That would lift them off the cover and eliminate the straps and stake pocket hooks. They certainly would not move. Just an idea.

That's pretty ingenious right there, how is the bar secured into the rear stake pockets ? Hopefully your cover can take the additional load, I guess time will tell. It is a really cool idea, thanks for posting the pics.

Bar looks like this when not on the truck. The tubing is slightly bigger than the stake pockets, so the part that goes in the holes has been cut from the bottom up about 5-6 inches, then squeezed together at the bottom and welded, creating a wedge effect. The bar fits nice and snug and WILL NOT come out unless pulled upwards while keeping it perfectly level. That and the weight of the bikes holds it in.

Thanks CaptJon, that would be my ideal setup. I didnt want to push it with the neighbor. He did the one I have for free. Maybe I'll wait a couple of months and go over and ask him what he thinks of the idea . . .
