Ask him what he did for springs and lifters!

Never mind....he updated it! I still want to do the build with 6.1 springs and the limiter. Lifters are good to stay in, as long as we get the MDS 6.4 cam

I kinda like the limiter idea but is there away to upload the tune file to the 11 pcm? An do the springs really need to be updated?

The 11 pcm's are encrypted, so you can't flash them without the dealer "code".
And yes, the valvesprings need to be changed, the new cam has much more lift than the stock truck cam. The 6.1 springs will work, but a good aftermarket spring is ideal.

According to the guy that did it, it ran fine on stock tune. But even better when he put his B&G ecu back in

I wonder if the springs from inertia would wor there only 380 for the entire kit

I guess the Eagle heads have a different installed height for the valves, so the 6.1 springs would have to be shimmed to work
