mine reads 10.7 in town right now but my left manifold is cracked, not to sure if that will help much and around 14-16 on the highway.

Combined I only get about 12 mpg in my 02. I did new plugs and K7N and saw no improvement whatsoever. Even did some seafoam. Last weekend pulling a trailer with 3 quads (O/D off) I only got 10.9 mpg and it was all highway. Truck runs great, no misfiring, I don't get it.

06 4.7L 1500 QC BigHorn....the OH console is reading 14.7mpg right now. i just took the reaonator from the TB and put my CAI direct to it and replaced the stock muffler with a Thrush welded model and retained the rest for a stock look. It sounds like a fire breathing beast at idle and start up, has a sweet rumble as i drive. If you stab the gas it sounds like its gonna suck the hood in and rockets from a smooth cruise to 100 like nothing. I'm looking for a chip and plugs/wires to liven up this old girl a little more. Any suggs... im all ears.

79% of my driving is done in the city. My truck has 3.55 gears. I am around 6500 miles on the odometer. I haven't done any performance mods and am getting an average of 15.4 mpg.

My highest mileage on a tank was 17.9 mpg with 65% city 35% highway. I am sure if I did 100% on the highway I could easily get over 20 mpg on a tank.

15 mpg in Dallas, a little lower in Fayetteville AR with the hills (14ish), and on the trip in between, (cruise control at 71, 1900 rpm) gauge shows 19.1 until i hit the mountains where it drop to 18.5 or so.

stock everything 03 QC SLT 2wd

Default Before/after head gasket replacement...

The day my head gasket blew, I was showing 23 on the downhill trip from Laramie, Wy to Longmont, Co, (100 mile trip)... this has been fairly consistent with each trip right at 20-22, including driving through the towns of Ft. Collins, Loveland, and Longmont.. the uphill trip showed 17 BHGR, (Before Head Gasket Replacement)..

Now, AHGR, I seemed to lose a few MPGs.. Last night trip showed 20.2 on the console, for the downhill leg, while the console showed 15.5 on the uphill leg..

Not sure why the mileage slipped though... any ideas would be nice..

I do have a Cat Back System and a Cold Air Intake... no tuner yet.
